“A long-awaited Asian-focused food hall is about to make its debut at The Battery at Truist Park.
Ph’east, part of the PREP commercial kitchen facility, will be in soft open mode Thursday and Friday and will begin opening for its regular hours from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, Seven Chan, who owns Poke Burri and Lifting Noodles, confirmed to the AJC.
The food hall, which is located next to Wahlburgers on Legends Place and across from Aloft Hotel, Silverspot Cinema and Savi Provisions, will welcome second locations of several popular metro Atlanta eateries offering food from Japan, Korea, China and the Pacific Islands.
Tenants include Cantonese restaurant Fan T’Asia, a concept from Muling Zhao and chef Man Fai Yan, the team behind southern Cantonese-focused Bo Bo Garden on Buford Highway in Doraville; Kung Fu Tea, which has several metro Atlanta locations including stores in Doraville, Kennesaw and Duluth; Snackboxe Bistro, a Laotian restaurant which opened its first location in Doraville in 2018; a bar called Taps at Ph’east from the team behind Truck and Tap, which has locations in Woodstock, Alpharetta and Duluth; and Poke Burri and Lifting Noodles Ramen from Seven Chan and Ken Yu, who also own Poke Burri and Lifting Noodles locations in East Atlanta and Duluth. The pair also has plans for several more locations of each eatery, including at the new CODA at Tech Square development, set to open within the next few weeks.
